Welcome to Kent Sands

We are a support group providing an opportunity for bereaved parents to share their experiences of baby loss with other bereaved parents.
As a group we hold three monthly meetings; these are held in Bexleyheath, Barnehurst and Ashford. ALL MEETINGS ARE FREE OF CHARGE; however, a collection tin is always available for donations!
In addition to these meetings we offer support in the following ways:-

Information and access to Sands publications – books are available to borrow, subject to availability.
Newsletters – this is produced 3 times a year. It includes, amongst other things, forthcoming events and the names of each baby who has a birthday within the following few months. If you would like a copy, or you want something included, please contact us on 07905 704626.
Befriending – the unique understanding of a shared experience.
Support in future pregnancies – this can be a very stressful time.
Telephone support – your call will always be welcome and you will only talk to someone who has, like you, experienced the death of a baby before, during or after birth.
