MAIN MONTHLY MEETING DAY & VENUE

This meeting, which has an attendance of about 65 members, is held on the firsr Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the Sevenoaks Community Centre, Otford Road, Sevenoaks (near the 'Bat & Ball' railway station).

MONTHLY MEETING PROGRAMME

These meetings provide an opportunity for members to meet with a large proportion of our membership, which at the present time is over 150, socialise with old friends and make new friends. A cup of tea or coffee and biscuits is included.

At the same time members are able to study details from a vast display of posters of our forthcoming events, so that dates can be noted in diaries, names taken of those wishing to attend these activities, and the collection of payments for those where this is necessary.

A regular three monthly programme of events is published with the posters providing additional information of these, and other events which are 'one off specials'.

At most meetings we have a speaker giving talks that cover a wide range of topics. These have included :- local history; the wildlife around us; the work of local and national charities; travel; the interesting careers in which people have been engaged; etc.; etc..

In July we celebrate our Birthday and in December we have our Christmas party.
