INSULATORS FC
Insulators Football Club was formed in May 1970 and is the longest surviving club in Paddock Wood and in the oldest 3 in the League. It began life in a plastic moulding factory with players changing next to the machines. The original green kit was bought by the company, thereafter it has paid its own way. One of the founders, Eddie West still lives in the area and many former players follow our progress. A housing estate may now stand on the factory site and we may have been kicked off our St Andrews Road ground but we fight on.

It was the first club to play in all cup finals; Senior (won 2-0), Intermediate (lost 2-1) and Junior (won 1-0). This was before the introduction of the Junior Trophy.

The most recent trophies were won by our reserve team who did the double in season (2003/4). In 2005 a combined side won the Spring Cup Final beating Biggin Hill 2-1 in a tight match.

We have 2 teams in the West Kent Sunday Football League currently playing in Divisions 2 & 4. The 1st team play home games at Green Lane & the 2nd team at Memorial Ground both in Paddock Wood, with home games kicking off at 10:30.

We also have a team in the Tonbridge & District Saturday league currently playing in Division 2. Home games are at Green Lane with a 2:00 kick off.

We are sponsored by PSS, an international removals company. We are also receive financial support from the The Star Inn at Matfield.
