HISTORY:
The Club was started in May 1949 by a group of people interested in dancing, and having an enjoyable evening.
WHAT IS SEQUENCE DANCING:
Modern Sequence Dancing is based on the standard Ballroom and Latin dances, e. g. Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, Tango, etc.
There are also other dances based on Classical (Old Time), e. g. Blues, Gavottes, Saunter, Swing. etc.
Everyone dances the same 16 bar routine together and because the same routine is being done by everyone they become quite easy.
Sequence dances are friendly and enjoyable social events. Beginners are made very welcome and helped with the dances.
