Friends of Stag Launched!

The local community wants to support Sevenoaks Town Council in its running of the Stag Community Arts Centre in London Road, Sevenoaks, and "Friends of Stag" has been set up in response.
A steering committee has been appointed to see Friends of Stag through to Summer 2010, when an AGM will be held.
Membership of Friends of Stag is now open.
Benefits linked with membership are still under discussion but we will keep members informed of these, of events happening at the Stag, and also of fund-raising and social events arranged by Friends of Stag.
If you would like to join, use the form on a later page, and be sure to let us know your e-mail address, so we can keep you informed more quickly and also save money on postage – so allowing more funds to be used to support the Stag.
The Objects of FoS are to support community and arts projects associated with The Stag Community Arts Centre (Stag) by
• raising funds for distribution to qualifying projects by organising social functions and other activities
• encouraging attendance at relevant events and activities
• stimulating interest in community and arts events at the Stag
• encouraging voluntary support for the Stag
• representing the objectives of FoS
• carrying out such other related activities as the Committee shall from time to time deem appropriate
