Wadhurst's Rubbish Across The Sector ( RATS ) Gallery.
W.RATS.G - is here to Raise Awareness to the Increasing Amounts of Litter, Rubbish & Graffitti that are Plagueing Our Rural Environment of Wadhurst by a mindless, sometimes arrogant, & selfish few, who are ruining this rural village's appearance, by simply the lazyness to put their Litter or Rubbish in a BIN.
This site will run Photographs of All the Litter & Rubbish we Collect as the WETACKLE Team, over the next months.
WETACKLE -Wadhurst Environmental Team For A Cleaner Kept Local Environment.
This is a Totally Voluntary Unpaid Group that work within our Community to Keep this Environment of Rural Wadhurst Free of Litter & Rubbish. We are often backed up by Wealden District Council who collect the mountains of rubbish we collect up & clear it for us by truck. This rubbish has to go to land fill sites as it is seen as contaminated and therefore cannot be Recycled.
We consider Graffitti ( Tags ) as Littering the Environment, and Causing the same degrading effects as Litter to Areas & Properties.
WADHURST PARISH CONCERNS
We will also Raise Awareness & Petitions Against Development/s that are NOT In Keeping with Wadhurst's Rural Character. These include Planning Developments, Phone Masts, Unwanted Alterations to Our Community Environment.
